A tablet device called Augen Gentouch 78 appears in the center retailer Kmart in the United States.
Augen is one of the first Android tablets were present in the United States market. Augen Gentouch were sold for $ 149.99 until the end of this July.

Lenovo reportedly were preparing to release a LePad, tablet PC-based Android, which is planned attendance at the end of this year 2010. LePad will be prepared to anticipate the arrival iPad in China and Asia in general.

Velocity Micro launches products which are named Cruz and Cruz's Reader tablet. Tablet devices and e-reader that uses the Android operating system.


Reader Cruz has a 7 inch touch screen with a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. This device is equipped with accelerometer and SD card expansion slot. There are several applications in e-reader among dictionaries, address books, and games libraries. Nook and Kindle competitor was priced at 199 dollars only available starting in August 2010 and later.

Cruz tablet is a tablet with Android OS which has a 7-inch touch screen with a 16:9 ratio, 800 x 480 pixels resolution. The tablet is equipped with 4GB of internal storage with SD card slot for additional memory. There is also a 802.11n wifi connection but there is no 3G in this tablet. Cruz Tablet will be available starting September 2010 with the price of 299 dollars.



Besides the two products there is also a device intended for children ie StoryPad Cruz. 149 dollars worth of this device has similar features including Cruz Reader Android OS but is designed for children. Cruz fell StoryPad equipped resistant casing and an intuitive touch interface and is expected to fit for children

Motorola finally officially announced the availability of Motorola's Charm, Android with blackberry flavor for lower middle-class users. This product is available in the United States through operator T-Mobile.

This product will compete with Blackberry and other low-end QWERTY phones like Nokia mobile phones C3 or other non-OS. Although quite promising, but this handset seems to have limitations because of Android-based application designed for an average of device with the screen upright and not widened.

Although the QWERTY design, such as Blackberry, Charm has an advantage because it uses 2.8-inch touch screen, plus 2.1 with UI Moto Android-Blur, 3 MP camera (Kodak), and wifi. Yet known how much the selling price will be given for this product.
